October 25, 2008 - Abbey Road

Wanda has always been a big fan of the Beatles. Due to our being tired by now, we did cut back on seeing some of the Beatles related things that we had originally planned. However, we couldn't miss the Abbey Road location since we were at the London Zoo on this day. We decided to walk from the Zoo to Abbey Road and it took about 30 minutes.
Matt took quite a few pictures of Wanda crossing the road just to make sure that the "right" picture was taken. As you can see, we weren't the only ones doing this. We had to wait about 10 minutes for others to finish before taking our pictures. The locals are used to this and I think that many get some enjoyment watching the tourists do this.
This was the winner.
Abbey Road Studio where they first recorded. The wall outside the gates (no pictures were taken for some reason) have all kinds of messages written to the Beatles on it. The owners white-wash it periodically to allow new messages to be written.
