Tokyo - March 16:  subway pictures

website:   none

Address of the location (from the website):   none

This sign was for the Nagatacho station, which was station #4 on the Hanzomon Line (Z).  It shows the direction of the different platforms (3 or 4), identifies where on the subway line it is (red circle almost in the middle of the map below), what stations are on also on the line.  What lines are on either side of this subway line (lighter purple color on either side of the main line), the connecting lines at each station (colored circles below the main purple line), and then a timetable for the local and express trains for this line.  All signs are in both English and Japanese.

This picture showed the layout of the subway station, direction of restrooms and station help, location of exits, and what was located near to the station.  An example is that exits 7-8 were to the left and exits 3-6 were to the right.  There is a listing in the yellow station below showing nearby attractions and businesses listed in both English and Japanese with the associated exit number to take.

This map showed the layout of the subway station, identified exists, and showed the direction of the connecting subway and rail lines.  All subways, subway stations, rail lines, and rail stations are non-smoking with specific smoking rooms set up in some of them.

Overhead signs list the current time, the platform, when the next couple of subways will arrive, and the final desitnation.

One of the vending machines in the subway.  Courtney, hidden between Wanda and Conner, was addicted to some of the small figures of anima characters.
