Beard Family Trips & Vacations

Ottawa, ON

October 13, 2011 - Canadian Air & Space Museum

Pictures from the Canadian Air & Space Museum:

I'm not going to put a lot of effort in this set of pictures since I want to go back through them and identify each one based on a map of the museum that I have.  Not sure when I'll get to it.

Main building of the museum.

Storage area of planes being worked on and others that won't fit in the main building.  They will give a special tour of this building if you are willing to pay for it.  They also will take people on flights with various planes if you pay.

This next couple of rows of pictures were of the ejection seat presentation.

End of ejection seat presentation.

Came to a small room off to the side and found the "Living in Space Exhibition":

There were other exhibits in the room, but a high school group came in and it got hard to take pictures.

On the second floor, in a hallway and on a balcony, they had an exhibit of Canadians who have been to space:

They showed every Canadian astronaut who had been up on the Space Shuttle and/or to the Space Station.
