Disney Magic Cruise to Grand Cayman, Cayman Islands and Cozumel, Mexico

February 9-15, 2013

 

The trip was for Wanda and Matt to go on a Disney cruise out of Galveston on the Disney Magic for 6 nights.

 

Day 2 - Sunday, February 10, 2013 - Day At Sea

The first full day on the cruise had a demonstration called "Disney's Art of Entertaining: The Appetizer" presented at 10:30 AM in the Studio Sea.  One of the ship's Chef de Cuisine prepared a Lobster and Shrimp Martini.

   

    

   

     

  

     

  

At the end of the demonstration, they gave a talk on the wine that would go well with this appetizer.

  

 Then we got to sample both the dish and the wine.

From the dinner menu, we selected as appetisers the Duck Confit and the "Prince Eric's Escargot Gratinee.

  

 

For the entree, we had the Slowly Braised Lamb Shank and the Triton's Seared Sea Bass.

Returning to the room for the evening, we found a swan, three chocolates, and a reminder about turning the clock ahead an hour.
