Beard Family Trips & Vacations

Walt Disney World, Orlando, Florida

May 18, 2014 - Be Our Guest Restaurant

Pictures from the Be Our Guest Restaurant in the Magic Kingdom for lunch:

Queue area outside the restaurant.

Inside walking to the kiosks to place our orders.

The grand 2-story Ballroom is the first dining room entered.

We then checked out the West Wing which is more intimate, but light.  The first picture in this group shows the beverage station where you get your drinks.

The third dining room is the Rose Gallery - dark and gloomy at the time we entered.

We decided to go back to the West Wing to eat.  It didn't take long for our lunch to be served.

We both had ordered an entree and a dessert.  The first entree is the braised port with mushrooms, onions, carrots, and bacon served with mashed potates and green beans.  The second entree is a carved prime chuck roast beef sandwich with horseradish and pommes frites.  The two desserts are the triple chocolate cupcake (chocolate sponge cake , chocolate mousse filling, and chocolate ganache) and the lemon meringue cupcake (vanilla sponge cake, lemon custard filling, and flamed meringue icing).

These carts are used to bring your food to your table.  The servers go through a specific path around each dining room to keep the flow of traffic moving.  When the room filled up, it was very noisy.
